Pony Club rally horse management and competition. This rally will include a Dressage test and a Stadium (jumping) course. It will teach competitors how to check scoreboards and to properly make an inquiry if necessary.  It will offer C advisors some experience and/or the opportunity to fulfill
teaching requirements as expected of C rated candidates.

Teams: Mixed rating teams of 3-4 riders 1 stable manager and a non-competing C adviser. The organizer will combine individual entries and teams with less than 3 riders to create viable teams.

Governing Documents:

  • 2019 D will be an eventing rally
  • 2019 Eventing Rulebook

Tack room set-up: Each team will set-up one tack room. Parents may help carry heavy equipment to the tackroom etc however parents may not assist with tack room set-up. This is the realm of C advisers and assistant horse management judges.

Team Advisors: Each team is requested to bring a C level or higher adviser. Advisers should be turned out neatly and must wear medical arm bands and barn appropriate footwear. Remember that advisers are leading their competitors by example.

Volunteers: Anyone wishing to assist as an Assistant Horse Management Judge at the rally is encouraged to do so. This is the only way that parents are granted access to the team tackroom areas other than during open barns. If you would like to work as an assistant horse management judge please contact Heather McTigue at

Competitor Attire: Attire guidelines for Unrated and D rated Pony Clubbers are found in the current discipline handbook. 2019 Eventing Rulebook.

  • Riders on a team are responsible for bringing all individual items required for example saddle, bridle, grooming brushes etc per the 2019 Horse management rulebook.
